Police still investigating murder case in Pulogadung

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Wibowo confirmed six people killed and five others wounded at a house belongs to Dodi Triono in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Tuesday (27/12). The dead bodies were found in a locked bathroom, together with five survivor. "There were 11 people locked in a 1.5 x 1.5 square meters bathroom with no ventilation since yesterday," Argo said.

The incident took place in North Pulomas Street Number 7A, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. "We have to use force to open the bathroom door and it took a while to open it," said The Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Wibowo to reporters on Tuesday (27/12).

The sixth victims died were known as Dodi Triono (59), Diona Arika Andra Putri (16), Dianita Gemma Dzalfayla (9, child of the victim), Amel (friend of child victim), Yanto (driver), and Tasrok (40, driver). Five of them victims were died in the crime scene, while another one died in hospital.

Meanwhile, five survivors were Emi (41), ZKA (13), and Santi (22, maid). Two others were Fitriani (23) and Windy (23). The police were still conducting investigations related to the case. At least two witnesses were examined by the police, namely Evan Sandrego Pratama Putra and Sheila Putri as the first who found the victims "We are still investigating and examining the witnesses. The victims already being taken to hospital," said Argo.

According to Argo, the incident revealed when Sheila reported the suspected robbery to the Kayu Putih police station, Tuesday morning at around 9:25 am. The police immediately docked to the location and found the 11 victims have been locked in a 1.5 x 1.5 meter square bathroom. "It was locked from the outside and the victims died allegedly due to oxygen deprivation," said Argo.

Based on the observation by Republika.co.id, the luxury house was mounted by police lines. People who came to the site were banned for entering the crime scene.

According to the Head of Public Information (Kabagpenum) of National Police, Commissioner Martinus Sitompul, the incident was allegedly occurred on Monday (Dec 26). However, people realized it this morning. Martinus said that there was a resident who made an appointment with the murdered victims. The next day, the person contacted the victim, but did not get any response. Finally, she decided to come to the victim's house.

Unfortunately, the house was locked tight when she came. She asked for the police officers on the nearest post to help to pave the house. "And then it was opened. There were six people found inside a bathroom. They were piled up and some of them died," he said.

According to Martinus, the murder case was usually become priority for the police to revealed, whether it was a pure robbery or robbery with murder. "I cannot make my own allegations because the information was incomplete. But, certainly, in a criminal case which causing death, especially with many victims, it becomes a priority," he explained.
