REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo has canceled 158 Ministry of Home Affairs' Regulation (Permendagri) during 2016. "We have canceled a total of 158 Permendagri," he said at his office, Friday (7/10).
Tjahjo explained, total Permendagri that have been canceled exclude of the 3,000 regional regulations (Perda) which have also been canceled along with heads of regions such as mayor, regent, until governor. He added, in 2015, Ministry also has canceled the Permendagri that considered hampering investment and overlapped between the Permendagri with higher regulation. Total Permendagri canceled during 2015 reached 111.
Meanwhile in 2016, ranging from January to October, Tjahjo said, Permendagri which have been clarified as many as 47 of 100 Permendagri by the law firm. Cancellation of the Regulation aimed to facilitate the entrance of investments. It also to improve the economy as well as steps to reform the convoluted bureaucracy. The ministry expected it can make positive impact on state revenues.
