Six tourists drowned in Sukabumi

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SUKABUMI  -- As many as six tourists drowned at beach in Sukabumi, West Java. In addition, two travelers were killed by lightning on the seaside.

Information from the Tirta Tourism Rescue Agency (Balawista) Palabuhanratu said six people killed at some point. Those places in Istiqomah Beach, Muara Cikaso Tegalbuleud, and Katapang Condong beach.

“From the data, as many as six tourists were drowned, '' said a data employee of Balawisata Palabuhanratu S Geni to Republika.co.id, Thursday (14/7).

Sixth tourists were drowned since last Eid holiday. Those killed namely Suherlan (16 years old), residents of Cimenteng Village who drowned in Muara Cikaso on Thursday (7/7), Adrian Kaspari (14), a resident of Bekasi who drowned in Isiqomah Beach, Palabuhanratu, Friday (8/7), and Kiki Riyandi (17) residents who drowned in Cilangkob Beach. Then Muhammad Isran (8) which sank in the Karang Papak Beach and two visitors which sank in Katapang Condong beach on Sunday (10/7), Mahpudin (19) and Nardi (19) Geni said joint officers are save life of 16 tourists who drowned along Eid. Search and rescue has been done at some point of beaches that visited by tourists.

Meanwhile, the data Sukabumi Police said there were two other travelers who killed caused by lightning in Palampang Beach, Ciemas Subdistrict, namely Sari Bin Emis (19) and Fitri Bin Pepen (18), resident of Mekarjaya, Ciemas subdistrict, Sukabumi.
