Muslim clothing contributed to the total sales of the product in Zalora up to a dozen percent. Anthony says specifically in June sales of shirts, caftans, veils increased, including sales in clothing for men.
Anthony said Muslims are not only wearing and buying special clothes available for Eid
“They are also looking for good clothing that has a solid match and for example buying a long-sleeved top in Mango's combined with trousers. That could be considered a modern Muslim style," said the man from Hong Kong.
Zalora has prepared to welcome Ramadan since six months ago. The goal is that people can shop until approaching Eid holiday and still has the clothes to use for the Eid celebration. There is additional fleet of services performed, including personnel and packing warehouse to customer service.
