REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The National Development Planning Agency (NDPA) expects the program of Indonesia South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSC) in the future may provide benefits not only for developing countries, but also further enhance the economy of Indonesia.
Political Director of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation for International Development of NDPA, Dewo Broto Joko said, to achieve these objectives, the government has established the National Coordination Team Development of SSC that consisted of four ministries, namely NDPA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of State Secretary and the Ministry of Finance.
"We expect the strengthening of coordination and communication can be improved, so it can be useful not only in terms of political diplomacy but also the economy. Tim Kornas can facilitate for market penetration and cooperation with the government there," said Dewo in Jakarta, Tuesday (28 / 6).
SSC program itself is a kind of metamorphosis of the Asian-African Conference. In the past the government has helped to liberate countries in Asia and Africa, the government is now helping developing countries to improve themselves in achieving self-sufficiency, especially for development.
Dewo said, to achieve the goal of SSC, synergy between government and the private sector is vital. Currently, the private sector became one of the very important stakeholders in the architecture of international development cooperation.
