REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON -- Forty Indonesian migrant workers, who are staying in a temporary shelter set up by the Indonesian embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will be repatriated immediately, the embassy's Employment Affairs Attache, Janususilo said.

Fifteen of them have been identified as the victims of human trafficking by the Indonesian police, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IOM-Indonesia's preliminary examinations, he said in a press statement made available to Antara here on Thursday.

Janususilo, however, did not elaborate the exact date of departure for the Indonesian workers but said the workers will be temporarily accommodated at the Ministry of Social Welfare Affairs' compound until the police investigation into their human trafficking case is completed.

The Indonesian embassy's temporary shelter is still accommodating 169 troubled migrant workers. Among them are victims of physical abuse and unpaid wages, he said.
