BPN to certify land ownerships of 3,000 Bogor citizens

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- Through the National Agricultural Operations Project (Prona), the National Land Agency (BPN) of Bogor City provides free land certificates to some residents at the city of Bogor. The certification was done because many residents and city of Bogor who do not have land titles.

"Data recorded in Bogor city administration, on the Low Income Communities program inventory, stated that there were at least 3 thousand people who did not certify their land," said the Regional Secretary Bogor City Ade Hidayat Sarip, Tuesday (7/6).

Ade stated the number of which is still considered very much can not be solved simply by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR funds alone). To that end, Prona (a program of issuing of land) of National Land Agency (BPN) of Bogor City could be one solution to reduce the number of citizens who do not have land certificates.

"This is proof BPN Prona Bogor City also has the attention and the same desire to contribute to the municipal government to improve the quality of life," said Ade.

"Through this certificate we hope to have a positive impact on the lives of citizens. For the future, this certificate can be used as collateral to the bank's capital.”
