REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A Transjakarta bus overturned in front of the Inti Fauzi Building, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/6) at 08.33 am.
Transjakarta bus driver named Joko Prasetyo has been detained in South Jakarta Police because he was driving in sleepy condition.
Head of Sub directorate guidance and law enforcement department of Jakarta Metro Jaya police, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant (AKBP) Budiyanto said the bus has police number B 7700 VK with Senen-Lebak Bulus route. When passing on Raya Warung Buncit Street, the bus overturned on the street corners at the Bus Stop SDN 03, Buncit.
"He feels drowse, and not in focus, and then accident happens," he told to reporters on Tuesday (7/6).
He added, the Transjakarta bus driver survived and been taken to the South Jakarta Police for further investigation. Meanwhile the victim hospitalized in JMC hospital, but now the victim is return to its home.
"The driver named Joko Prasetyo, the victim is the passenger of bus named M Slamet. When the incident happened, there is only one passenger, and the driver," he explained. He added, M Slamet get wound in his hand, elbow and was taken to JMC hospital during the incident.
