REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Explosion of gas installation in Gandaria City Mall Ground Floor, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta make 13 people wound, Thursday (19/5). They all have been hospitalized (RS) Pertamina Center, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

"There was an explosion and make 13 people  injuries consisted of seven were severely injured and six minor injuries," said South Jakarta Police, Grand Commissioner (kombes) Tubagus Ade Hidayat, Thursday (19/5).

Ade said the first witness Security Syafrudin explain, on Thursday at around 10.00 am, he smelt gas at the scene when he patrolling. Then when he try to call a technician to check, gas installation blast and made 13 people were injuries.

Second witness Rudi Suhendar Purwanegara also see 13 casualties in the explosion, one of they is an employee of Burger King restaurant, Tari.

Then Ade explain the emergency room Pertamina Hospital Center about 11.30 am handle patients who suffered burns in Gandaria City Mall.
