Budget to curb Kalijodo rumored from Agung Podomoro, this is Ahok’s Response

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok deny the rumors stating that budget to curb Kalijodo region from private company, PT Agung Podomoro.

"Not from them (Agung Podomoro)," Ahok said at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/5).

Although, Ahok confirmed that the funding are not policing of PT Agung Podomoro Land, but he reluctant to reveal where the money come from.

Ahok also rejected the issue that state budget for curbing Kalijodo is an agreement with PT Agung Podomoro Land to allow the issue of license for reclamation.

Ahok said, that issue is not true because the fact of the reclamation permit is granted for long time. He added  that this issue also not asked by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) when he was called as a witness in bribery case discussion of the Draft Regional Regulation (raperda) Reclamation of Jakarta Bay, Tuesday (10/5).

"Yesterday I am also not asked about it when questioned by the KPK.

So, That is not true," Ahok added.
