REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON -- Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to meet British Prime Minister David Cameron here on Tuesday to discuss several areas of cooperation between the two countries.
"President Jokowi will meet the British prime minister on Tuesday," British Ambassador to Indonesia Moazzam Malik stated.
According to Malik, President Jokowi and Prime Minister Cameron will discuss numerous important issues, including economic cooperation between the two countries.
"Last year, the British prime minister had visited Indonesia and had continued to strengthen business relations between the two countries. Thus, a discussion will be held to review the progress and obstacles," he revealed.
Malik expressed hope that the agreement between British and Indonesian companies, including the investment of British companies in Indonesia, will be announced on Wednesday.
