REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Thousands of Muslims in Indramayu praying sunnah of solar eclipse on Wednesday morning. Implementation of the Sunnah prayers took place in mosques at various places.

One of them in the Great Mosque of Indramayu. The enthusiastic pilgrims crowded the mosque located in the city center. Implementation of prayer started at around 07.00 am.

In his sermon, the preacher Ustaz Mahfouz said a solar eclipse is one of the signs of Allah SWT. Muslims are also asked not to associate the phenomenon of solar eclipse with myths that do not make sense.

'' With the eclipse of the sun, we are reminded of the greatness of Allah, '' said Mahfouz.

In addition to the Grand Mosque Indramayu, implementation sunnah prayers eclipse took place in almost all mosques in the district of Indramayu. The enthusiasm of Muslims praying sunnah is almost the same as the prayer of Eid.

Not only in Indramayu, thousands of Muslims also thronged Masjid At Taqwa Cirebon to pray sunna solar eclipse. The enthusiasm of worshipers made the mosque was crowded.
