REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Mahmoud Abbas thanked Jordan's King Abdullah II for protecting sites in Al Quds Al Sharif.
According to Abbas, King Abdullah II is not only helps protect the site of Al Quds, but also its historical status that existed before Israel occupancy.
Israel so far has launched multiple attacks and already targeting the Al Aqsa Mosque. Abbas invited the delegates Level Level Conference (KTT) Extraordinary Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to help strengthen the defense of Al Quds Al Sharif in order to survive in the field.
"Palestine, Jerusalem, and all the brothers in order to support this," he said in the opening ceremony of the OIC Extraordinary Summit 5th in Jakarta on Monday.
Abbas also thanked the friendly countries that have been answered and prove its commitment to support the Palestinian people.
"Thanks also to the Islamic Bank that has been keeping Aqsa and Al Quds for financing, management and its efforts in providing protection to the Palestinians," he said.
Abbas has called very important to strengthen community empowerment for the Palestinians in Al-Quds and the occupied area outside Palestine.
It aims to fund projects in order to finance a decent living for the Palestinians, in addition, also to finance the vulnerable people, including a decent living for the Palestinians.
