KPAI regrets anti LGBT campaign protest

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) regretted lesbian gay bisexual and transgender (LGBT) groups step that planning to protest against the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) about anti-LGBT campaign on television.

KPAI strongly supports KPI decision, because, according to Chairman of the Division of Socialization KPAI Erlinda, KPI is one of hundreds of institutions concerned with Indonesia, especially the children who became the nation's assets.

"We let the pro LGBT to reject. However KPAI strongly support KPI decision," Erlinda said told Republika on Tuesday (1/3).

Erlinda explained the steps that have been taken by KPI, has been through various studies comprehensively. One of the causes of deviant free sex is porn, the show is not suitable to be watched by children, including the show that showing gender ambiguity.
