REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian Child Protection Comission (KPAI) asked government to summon Facebook and Twitter representative.
"In my opinion, the ban for users who concern to protect children from LGBT [influences] is not right,'' Deputy Chairman KPAI Susanto told Republika on Tuesday (23/2).
According to Susanto, government must ask social media representative to make sure there are no LGBT campaign. Government must urge Facebook, Twitter, and the other social media to have commitment to protect childer including to filter contains that harm children.
"(So) Facebook, Twitter, and the others not to support LGBT activity [in Indonesia] because it will influence to children behavioral disorientation," said Susanto.
Susanto appreciates Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) policy to forbid public figure act like opposite sex or ladyman on television.
