REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Traffic jam became a part of life in Jakarta. Many people who lived in this capital of Indonesia find a way to avoid that problem.

One of them is Kemas Antonius, a chief product officer at Jobplanet Indonesia. He chose to use public transportation in every activity.

According to a man who was born in Palembang, December 4 1980, private vehicles such as car and motorcycle will only waste our time. Anthony, who spent his childhood in Padang city, West Sumatra said public transportation was very useful.

"My home is at Cilandak and my office is at Kuningan. Every work days, I always find traffic and i feel tired if i have to use own vehicle," Anthony said to Republika.

He felt anxious when Minister of Transportation, Ignatius Jonan issued a regulation that banned circulation of online motorcycle. However, Anthony considered this public transportation was very helpful to reduce traffic jam in Jakarta. Even, with very affordable price, everybody could saving more money.

Anthony who graduated from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Netherlands also has another hobby. He liked to go around Jakarta with public transportation.

"I used online motorcycle from Cilandak to Bekasi with promo price," Anthony said with laughs.

Anthony explained live with simplicity is part of his life. When he was in elementary school, walk is a part from their daily activities. In fact, the distance between his home and school is about 2 kilometers.

"Now, i continue to teach simplicity that I learned from my mom to my daughters," he added.
