REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SERANG -- Banten province has set a target of investment for 2016 at Rp14.1 trillion, up from Rp13.4 trillion the year before.

The investment target of Rp14.1 trillion comprises foreign investment worth Rp9.8 trillion and domestic investment worth Rp4 trillion, Head of the Banten Provincial Investment and Integrated Service Coordinating Board Babar Suharso said here on Saturday.

He said investment realization in the province from January to September last year reached Rp29.8 trillion, more than double the target of Rp13.4 trillion for 2015.

"By December 2015, the amount of realized investment reached more than Rp30 trillion. Hopefully, the target of investment for this year can be achieved," he said.
