REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Sudirman Said, handed over state property assets worth Rp 1.1 trillion to district and city government.
"This is part of 'clean-up' program, including cleaning of management of the assets," said Sudirman, in a press release, Monday (30/11).
It was said by Sudirman in front of regents and mayors, who were invited to Ministry of ESDM to receive state property assets (BMN) in Yogyakarta, Monday (30/11). In that occasion, Sudirman invited 103 county or city governments.

Sudirman hoped assets that have been completed many years ago, could be utilized immediately by local community.
"Early in the last year, I know there are assets worth Rp 1.5 trillion that have been built with state budget, but its status is still noted in the book Ministry of ESDM. As a result, maintenance and utilization of the assets can not be done," he added.
