Lion Air apologizes after delay for six hours

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Lion Air Management conveyed apologize for the delay of aircraft Jakarta-Makassar route with flight number JT 898 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Saturday (21/11).

"On 21st November 2015, there was flight delay route CGK-UPG with flight number JT 898, where we were changing the type of aircraft from narrow body into wide body," said General Director of Lion Air, Edward Sirait, in a press release received by Republika.co.id, Sunday (22/11).

However, he continued, there was also miss coordination in process of flight permit. The condition caused the flight schedule could not be conducted.

"Over this incident, we apologize to our passengers," he stated.

Lion Air aircraft Jakarta-Makassar route on Saturday (21/11) delayed for six hours. The aircraft was scheduled to depart at 05:00 am, but then it departed at 11.00 pm. These condition made the passengers upset and got into the runway of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
