REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANILA -- Vice President Jusuf Kalla attended the APEC CEO Summit this morning in Manila, Philippines. This summit was also attended by businessmen from various countries and Kalla invited them to come to Indonesia.
"Please come to Indonesia," said JK in the APEC CEO Summit in Manila, Philippines, Wednesday (18/11).
JK hoped, the presence of Indonesia in this international economic cooperation could give a positive impact on the development and welfare of Indonesian people. This international forum, he said, could help Indonesia to face economic challenges.
"Cooperation is the point, let's join hands to create economic instability to be better," he added.
Furthermore, according to him, if there are problems or obstacles in enhancing economic cooperation, then the countries need a dialogue. Thus, a variety of inter-state cooperation could be established.
Kalla was scheduled to attend the APEC Summit in Manila, Philippines, for four days, from 7th to 20th November. In this international event, he was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Trade Minister Thomas Lembong, and Head of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Franky Sibarani.
