REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Rini Soemarno, inaugurated Gilarsi Wahyu Setijono as President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) and Indyruwani Asikin Natanegara as director.

Press release of Pos Indonesia, in Jakarta, Monday (16/11) stated that the appointment of Gilarsi and Indyruwani was based Ministry of SOEs's decision as General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Number: SK-229/MBU/11/2015 on the Appointment of Members of Directors of the Company of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero).

The Decree was carried out at the Ministry of SOEs on 16th November 2015. Accordingly, the complete composition of the member of directors of Pos Indonesia, among other, Gilarsi Wahyu Setijono as President Director, Indyruwani Asikin Natanegara, Poernomo, Gusti Ngurah Putu Sugiarta Yasa, Febriyanto, and Agus F. Handoyo as directors.

On the appointment of two new directors of Pos Indonesia, the composition of the Directors of Pos Indonesia was completed and the company was ready to be ran.

Gilarsi was a seasoned professional and had held important positions in several leading global companies, namely as Business Excellence Director of Philips Lighting Asia Pacific and as Managing Director for  Merrill Lynch Investment in Thailand, China and the Philippines.

Before being appointed as President Director of Pos Indonesia, Gilarsi was graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He was CEO of PT Shafira Corporation Enterprise and a figure behind the rise of the fashion retail company.
