REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo condemned the acts of terrorism that took place in Paris, France on Friday (13/11) night. Jokowi asserted, the cruel acts that have caused hundreds of deaths, could not be tolerated.
"The Indonesian Government and people strongly condemned the violence and that occurred," said the President at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, shortly before leaving Indonesia to attend G20 summit in Antalya, Turkey, Saturday (14/11).
The Government of Indonesia called on all parties to strengthen international cooperation in facing terrorism. President believed that a strong synergy needed to eradicate radical action.
On that occasion, Jokowi also expressed his condolences to all victims.
"I express deep sorrow for the victims of terrorism and violence in Paris, and also to the Government and the French," said the President.
As is known, acts of terrorism attacked Paris on Friday night (13/11). Six successive attacks had killed at least 153 people.
