REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANAMA -- Royal Guard Commander Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa received, in the presence of Special Royal Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Yemeni Foreign Minister Riyadh Yassin and the accompanying delegation.
Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to the foreign minister who conveyed greetings from Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa reiterated Bahrain's stance, led by HM the King, in support of the legitimate Yemeni government to confront dangers and achieve stability.
He stressed the necessity of preserving the territorial integrity, stability and unity of Yemen, supporting its legitimate government and active participation in the Saudi-led alliance. He commended the participation of the BDF taskforce in the liberation of Aden and Ma'rib, reiterating Bahrain's unwavering stance in support of Yemen's stability and the restoration of the legitimate government.
Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa paid tribute to the wise leadership for the honourable stances in support of Yemen to thwart any attempt to subvert its security and stability. Yassin extended thanks to the King, commending the participation of Bahrain in the Saudi-led alliance. He paid tribute to HM the King for backing the legitimate government and provide all forms of support to achieve security and stability in Yemen.
The minister presented Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa with commemorative shields.
