REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) noted that realization of investments in the third quarter of 2015 reached Rp 140.3 trillion. It increased by 17 percent, compared with achievement of the same period in 2014 from Rp 119.9 trillion.

"The realization of investment consists of investment in the country (PMDN) of Rp 47.8 trillion and foreign direct investment (PMA) of Rp 92.5 trillion," said Deputy of Investment Implementation of BKPM, Azhar Lubis, in Jakarta, Thursday (22/10).

Azhar explained, realization of investment in the period of July to September 2015 as a whole increased, compared to previous year and previous quarter. BKPM stated, the increase in year-on-year in the period was 17 percent. Meanwhile, if compared to the second quarter of 2015, the increase was 3.8 percent.

"PMDN rose by 14.9 percent over the same period last year. PMA also rose by 18.1 percent over the same period last year," he added.
