REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MECCA -- Minister of Religious Affairs, Lukman Hakim Syaifuddin, conveyed apology to the family of Indonesian pilgrims on slow process of finding and identifying victims of Mina incidents.

"To the families of the victims, we apologize and beg your patience. We are here work for 24 hours and still continue to work as much and as optimal as possible. So that we can eventually reveal all Indonesian victims," Lukman explained, Monday (28 / 9).

The slow process of investigation was because there were a number of rules and steps that must be taken in accordance with the provisions of Saudi Arabia. Of course, said Lukman, this condition makes hajj officers could not free to do certain things.

"I do not know other countries also do verification and identification, but what we do is like this. Until now, with all of our limitations, we are grateful to the Government of Saudi Arabia related to granting of some access. But, we understand the process can not as fast as expected," he said.
