REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Members of Commission II, House of Representatives, Diah Pitaloka, said that any criticisms from people to government are considered as evidence that people give their concern toward attitude of the leader.
In this context, Rieke asked chairman and deputy chairman of House of Representatives, Setya Novanto and Fadli Zon to accept people criticism after their presence at Donald Trump presidential campaign in the United States.
"Any criticisms for Fadli Zon and Setya Novanto are evidence that people still care about ethical leader. It means citizens and government equally give active role in promoting the dignity of the nation," said Diah, Sunday (6/9).
She added that criticism for Indonesian parliament who came to Trump's campaign in the United States, was not a political issue.
"This issue is not about politics, but about ethical diplomacy with other countries. It is proper to be criticized," she said.
She stated that it should be assessed from the ethical ways of diplomacy, because it is related to diplomatic relations between two countries. Diah hoped, people and the parliamentarians could be wise in responding these issues, not only to blame each other.
