REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Chairman of House of Representatives, Fadli Zon, denied its presence in Donald Trump presidential campaign as a support for Trump. He argued that he had no interest in the campaign, particularly a voting right.
“There was no support, did we have a voice to the US presidential election?” he said, through short message, Sunday (6/9).
He also refused to say that Donald Trump is a candidate for US President. He said that Trump is not a candidate, because there has been no official statement.
Fadli Zon explained that during the campaign, he only stood as individual who was trying to get support from Republican Party. According to him, it was not a campaign, but only a press conference held in Trump private building.
