REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security, Luhut Pandjaitan, said number of foreign workers in Indonesia continues to decline. He said that foreign workers until August 2015 was about 54 thousand people. It decreased, compared with 2012, which reached 76 thousand people.

"Most of foreign workers are China, ie 13 thousand people. This was because the amount of the country's investment in Indonesia has increased dramatically," said Luhut, Tuesday (1/9).

According to him, the number of Chinese workers was small, compared with the number of Indonesian workers in other countries.

"In Hong Kong, there are 30 thousand Indonesian workers, but Hong Kong government never fuss," he added.
