REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA –- Two Malaysian police awarded Bhayangkara Nararya star from Polri, Friday (7/8). Those two police are Special Police Director, Datuk Seri Akhil Bin Bulat and Deputy Director I Cawangan Dato Abdul Hamid Bin Bador.
The Head of Indonesian Police, General Badroddin Haiti, said that the award was given on the contribution of the two Malaysian police in Indonesia-Malaysia’s friendship. This award was stated in the Presidential Decree Number 75 of 2015 on the conferment of honors of Bhayangkara Nararya star.
"Actually, our partnership with these two Malaysian Polices had been established, even from the Bali bombing some years ago,” said Badroddin, Friday (7/8).
Badrodin said that the Malaysian government was also doing the same thing to two Indonesian police. An award was given to Indonesian police officials related to terrorism.
“We also decided to give awards to Malaysian police, before their retirement,” he said.
