Files of KPK's leader candidates forwarded to three agencies

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Selection Committee Team (Pansel) of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s leader candidates will submit the data files of the candidates to representatives of civil society, Financial Transaction Report and Analysis Centre (PPATK) and Finance Ministry on Wednesday, July 29. The file will be used as tracking of track record of 48 candidates.

"This afternoon," said a spokesman for selection committee, Betti Alisjahbana when contacted by ROL on Wednesday, July 29.

Representatives of civil society, she said, represented the anti-corruption institutions Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW). Previously, the selection committee has handed similar files to the National Police, the Attorney General's Office, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and KPK leaders.

Later, the track record of the search results from various agencies will be used as a reference in determining the results of the third stage of selection. Such materials will be combined with the track record results and community's input.

On Monday and Tuesday (July 27-28), 48 candidates have undergone a series of third stage selection. The results will be announced on August, 12.

According to Betti, the results of the third stage selection were in the form of a short list which will undergo the fourth stage selection. In the fourth stage selection, the passed candidates will undergo medical tests and interviews by selection team.
