REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Famous lawyer OC Kaligis was back to undergoing examination at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building, on Wednesday, July 15. He was coming by custody car approximately 11:30 and out at 14:45 pm.
To the reporters, Kaligis declared that his status as a suspect did influence the National Democratic Party (NasDem), his political shelter. Moreover, before he was arrested by KPK he still served as the Chairman of the party court.
Nevertheless, Kaligis asserted that he was never retreat as NasDem cadre status. He emphasized, he will not resign from the party that founded by Surya Paloh.
"(Resign) from the party, no. But, from the chairman of the court, yes. I love the restoration. But I also should know myself. I already become a suspect," said OC Kaligis, on Wednesday, July 15.
As is known, OC Kaligis caught a case that ensnared his subordinate, M Yagari Bhastara Guntur aka Gery. Previously, Gery has been a suspect as well. Gery caught red-handed along with three judges and one administrative court clerks of Medan. All of them had become suspects.
Kaligis revealed, he had long enough to know his men who had worked for three years. "It's been three years. There have been many cases which handle by him," said Kaligis.
