REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of National Police will be working on nine major cases. A total of 500 investigators prepared to handle such cases. Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim) Police General Commissioner (Komjen) Budi Waseso ensured that the investigators will not deviate. Posts to oversee the investigators will be created.

"Every day there will be an evaluation, so that no cases are stalled or stumbled," said Budi, in Criminal Investigation Agency, on Monday, July 6. Everything will be engaged to supervise the investigators, especially members of the provost.

Budi explained, 500 investigators will be drawn from different regions. Then there was also from Police Headquarters itself. Related to investigator of the region, Budi ensure will not interfere with the performance in the region. Therefore, the region investigators involved will be see first their workload.

The former head of the Gorontalo Regional Police asserted that the investigators who will go to handle nine cases could already be accounted for. Track record of investigators, he said, into consideration.

"Investigators from Lemdikpol (police education agency), there is a former investigator of other functions. We're recruiting who has that ability," said Budi.

In this case, Budi continued, will coordinate with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Attorney General Office. Because, said Budi, inter-agency coordination were needed.
