REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Today, on Friday, July 3, at 12:00 noon was the final deadline for registration of leadership candidates for Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Chairman of Selection Committee Team (Pansel) Destry Damayanti claimed to have received hundreds of registrant names which have met the prerequisites.
"It still continues to increase. Until yesterday afternoon, there were 538 (registrants). But it does not include which enter yesterday afternoon over 03.00 pm and this morning," said Destry Damayanti when contacted by ROL on Friday, July 3.
Regarding about comparisons of registrants based on institution, Destry admitted she could not ensured it, because, the selection committee team was still checking the registration documents, including curriculum vitae (CV).
"We have not gotten to the details. We’re reviewing the CVs," she said.
It just, she made sure that the men registrants far more than women registrants. The economists said, the number of female registrants were no more than 10 percent of the total. "Because lastly, the women registrants just 43 persons," she said.
