REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Spokesman of Selection Committee (Pansel), Betti Alisjahbana, said the committee had already started the administration process of the registrant files of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)’s leadership candidates. Some registration files have started checked by the selection committee.

"We have started examining registrant files of KPK leaders candidates. The goal is that the announcement of registrants whom qualify for the administration could be on time on July 4," said Betti when contacted by ROL on Wednesday, June 24.

According to Betti, the examination has to deal with the tight deadline between registrations closing and the announcement of the administration selection of KPK leaders candidates. As is known, the closing of leaders candidates registration which previously will be conducted on June 24 postponed to July 3 at 12.00 WIB.

"Once the registration is closed, we just make administration selection for registrants who register on the end of registration period. For now, the registrants who were completed the administration requirements, certainly we could immediately select them, "she said.

While for those who did not complete the administrative requirements, she added, were given time until the closing deadline.

"Until Wednesday morning, some people have given a positive response, either by directly complement the administration or confirm the lack of their requirements," said Betti.

For a while, Pansel has recorded as many as 256 registrants of KPK leaders candidates until Tuesday evening, June 23. Of these numbers, 124 of them have not completed the requirements of registration.
