REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President Jusuf Kalla affirmed that the cabinet reshuffle was the prerogative of the president. He also asked that people to be patient to wait about this matter.
"But in the end it is the president's prerogative to make a change or not. We just have to wait patiently," said JK at his residence in Menteng, Jakarta, on Sunday, June 21.
According to JK, until now there was still no names of the ministers who will be affected by reshuffle. He also declined to say which sectors are considered to have a performance that was less than the maximum. "Well, that's internal, not for spread out," he added.
Furthermore, he stated, the public could judge the performance of the ministers, but the determination of a cabinet reshuffle could only be determined by the president. The reshuffle discourse of working cabinet's ministers was strengthened after the president asked his aides to collect the evaluation work report during the last six months.
Nevertheless, there has been no official statement from either the President or the Vice President, if the evaluation reports affect the composition of reshuffle of the Working Cabinet or not. The evaluation was conducted to determine the achievement of the performance of each ministry.
