REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of the Selection Committee Team (Pansel), Destry Damayanti said that until Thursday morning, June 11, there were 44 people have registered as candidates for leaders of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). She revealed that youngest registrant of KPK's leaders candidate was 40 years old.
"Youngest registrant is 40 years old, while the most senior is 62 years old," she said when contacted by ROL.
Destry continued, the majority of registrant of KPK's leader’s candidate was on the range age of 45 until 50 years. In terms of age, said Destry, all candidates had qualified the requirements.
"Until now, all registrants have qualified in terms of age, the most important they have reached the age of 40 years and have not reached the age of 65 years, people still allowed to enroll as KPK's leaders candidate," he explained.
She added that until Thursday morning there were no additional female applicants who register as KPK's leader’s candidate.
As is known, registration of KPK's leader’s candidates is open until June 24. Registration is done by sending the required files by mail and online.
A number of people, civil servants, activists, lawyers, academics to entrepreneurs has been officially enrolled as KPK's leader’s candidates.
The Pansel said KPK's leader’s candidates exchanges were enlivened by many new faces, such as individuals who are experts in their field but not yet widely known by the public.
