REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of the Selection Committee (Pansel) of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Destry Damayanti, said there were seven more names recommend as leaders candidates of KPK.
Seven names were based on a recommendation from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).
"After the meeting with PPATK, on yesterday, we were given the input of seven names that could be leader’s candidates. They come from within the institution and outside the institution," said Destry when contacted by ROL, on Wednesday, June 10.
She said, some of the recommended names already successful for follow-up by Pansel. Pansel has followed up the recommendation by directly asked them about their readiness to enroll as leaders candidates. "Some figures stated that they were not ready to be candidate. The others are still thinking about our invitation," she said.
All recommended names, Destry added, must register by sending the file to Pansel. They will be joined by other candidates who had already signed up.
Previously, there were 30 names which recommended by various parties as leaders candidates of KPK. Of all recommended names, four names already refused to register as leaders candidates.
Registration of KPK’s leaders candidates open until June 24. The applicants could submit the file by mail or by email. Files that are sent by mail addressed to the State Secretariat Building I (Setneg) Second Floor, Veteran Street, Jakarta. Files are to be sent via e-mail addressed to [email protected].
