REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of Selection Committee (Pansel) for leaders candidate of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Destry Damayanti explained, in the selection process will involve a number of state agencies. It was done so that Pansel could trace the track record of each KPK leader’s candidate in transparent and competent manner.

"Cooperation with institutions that do have access, such as the National Police, then State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), and KPK itself. Including, with public participation, we hope the community can provide input," said Destry Damayanti when contacted by ROL on Thursday, June 4.

On June 5 Pansel will officially open registration for KPK leader’s candidates. The registration will take place until June 24, 2015. After that date, there will be a selection of administrative records. The successful candidates will be published to the public for comment or input.

"We ask for feedback to the community. There is also a paper-making competency test," he said.

Destry said that Pansel was targeting before the end of August 2015 they has set the names of candidates for KPK leaders. These names are then submitted to the President, to be forwarded to the House of Representatives (DPR) in a fit and proper test. There will be five people were elected as head of KPK for the period of 2015-2019.
