JAKARTA -- Head of Law Office, Promotion, and Public Relations of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Yatri Indah Kusumastuti said that they have not received a plastic rice samples from the National Police (Polri). According to her, it was already checked to this day and there has been no samples received.
"Until today, there are no plastic rice samples we received from police," said Yatri to ROL, on Thursday, June 4. According to her, it was already confirmed to food technology laboratories on IPB.
Furthermore, she explained, there were several possibilities for the rice samples will be examined because there were many laboratories that exist in IPB. But, she added, if it has been received that the samples will be checked at the Laboratory of Integrated Chemistry or Food Technology laboratories.
Previously reported, Police together with Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) has announced the test results of rice sample in Bekasi which suspected as plastic rice. However, the results were declared negative or it was not plastic rice, it was different with the results of Sucofindo which stated positive.
After the differences in the results, then Polri did follow up to clarify the test results. For it, on Thursday, May 28, Polri claimed the sample which studied by Sucofindo has been submitted to IPB and University of Indonesia (UI) to be re-examined. C37
