REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MATARAM -- Chief Executive Officer of the Daewon Group Park Do Moon has explored investment potentials in Indonesia, especially in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara province.

"We are interested in conducting business in Lombok as it has several attractive tourism potentials," Moon said here on Wednesday.

The South Korean international company engages in construction, machinery, and information technology. It has been cooperating with Indonesia for more than 25 years.

"We have done a lot of business in Indonesia not only in the construction sector, but in the fields of education and culture, as well," he added.

Moreover, Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Zainul Majdi welcomes and appreciates Daewon Group's business plan in the province, especially in Lombok.

"This is a great opportunity for us to cooperate with the Daewon Group. We will strive to provide the best service," he affirmed.

In addition, the governor advises foreign investors who want to develop businesses or implement projects in Indonesia to do so through the Investment and Licensing Coordinating Board (BKPM), which is an authorized institution to deal with all matters related to investments.

"I will ensure that all investment processes are run transparently and expeditiously in accordance with procedures and that they do not trouble investors," Majdi stated.

He added that good investments will have positive impacts on the community, such as creating employment opportunities and encouraging people to succeed, especially in economic terms.
