REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Senior politician from Golkar, Akbar Tandjung, revealed if Golkar threatened could not attend local elections (Pilkada) because of internal polemics that never ended, it must be held Extraordinary National Congress (Munaslub).

This provision, he added, has been described in the internal by laws (AD/ART) of Golkar Party. "Munaslub is set in AD / ART, with the condition supported 2/3 by Regional Representatives Council (DPD) level I and supported by the DPD level II," said Agung to ROL on Tuesday, May 19.

According to Akbar, it is the way so Golkar could be saved and could attend local elections. Akbar explained when Munaslub implemented; cadres of Golkar would choose again the new chairman of party. He also said that both parties involved in the dispute, namely Aburizal Bakrie and Agung Laksono still welcome if they want to go forward again as a candidate.

"With the condition, keep giving room to the other Golkar members who will propose as the chairman," he added.

Previously, the State Administrative Court (PTUN) Jakarta has decided to grant claim of Chairman of Golkar Party from Bali’s congress, Aburizal Bakrie, on Monday, May 18.

In its decision, the judges require defendants, namely Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Laoly, to revoke Decree (SK) that legalized the management of Golkar of Ancol’s congress, chaired by Agung Laksono. But the verdict was directly appealed by Agung Laksono’s attorney.
