REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Head of National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) Commissioner General (Komjen) Budi Waseso said that the plan to raids big online prostitution involving artists will be carried out in various regions in Indonesia. He saw the issue of prostitution was at the stage of worrying.
"Beside Jakarta, we have targeted a few areas for this operation," Budi said in South Jakarta Police Headquarters, on Monday, May 11.
Budi said every region has its own mode and manner of conducting online prostitution business. Thus, it needs further investigation related to the prostitution business. Budi suspect it could be a major syndicate involving a lot of parties.
After prostitution raid in Kalibata City and Tata Cubby’s death in Tebet, police cracked various prostitution points.
Previously, a suspect RA alias Obbie alias Robbi Abbas was arrested by the police. He and a female artist with the initials AA were arrested while doing transactions in one five-star hotel.
