REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- Chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR), Setya Novanto, expressed his opinion on cabinet reshuffle issue rumored will be conducted by President Jokowi in the near future.
Setya said, during sixth month of administration, the President must have known the performance of his ministers.
"The president had already known all that was done by his ministers, already knew the problem of credibility, loyalty, and also the given targets," he said after attending inauguration of the International Port Corporation (IPC) University in Ciawi, Bogor on Tuesday May 5.
The Golkar Party politician assessed, within six months is ideal to carry out a cabinet reshuffle. Nevertheless, he stressed that his agency would not push Jokowi to reforms his ministers.
"It's the prerogative of the president,"he said.
Earlier, Vice President Jusuf Kalla ensured there will be a reshuffle in the body of Working Cabinet (Kabinet Kerja). He hinted that a reshuffle will be made shortly.
"Of course in the near future, “he said.
Nevertheless, President Jokowi until now declined to comment on the matter.
