Kurdish forces kill 22 ISIS fighters in Kobani

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, AMMAN -- At least 22 militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/ISIS) were killed during confrontations with the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in Kobani, North Syria.

"The deaths include 19 ISIL gunmen who were killed in YPG successful attempt to seize Moman Hills around the village of Manazi to the southwest of the city, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Thursday.

The remaining three fatalities resulted from YPG recapturing of the two villages of Korbinkar and Qarah Mazri, to the southeast of Kobani, from ISIL, SOHR added.
