REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The online services for getting a new investment permit in Indonesia will be available on holidays as well, Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)'S Deputy Chief for Services, Lestari Indah said here on Saturday (3/1).
"(Providing) services on a holiday reflects our commitment to making it easy for potential investors to obtain an investment permit," said Lestari.
According to her, the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has received a total of 1,265 investment permit applications online since the implementation of the new service was announced on December 15.
Among the online services provided by BKPM are investment permits, expansion permits, a joint venture permit and the facility to change a permit. The timeframe for the processing of the permits ranges from three to six days.
