MOFA to open representative office in Palestine soon

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs will open a representative office in Palestine soon. The ministry is still selecting the ambassador for Palestine.

"We are still selecting for the right person," the ministry's spokesperson, Michael Tene, said on Wednesday, December 3.

He did not mention when the office would be opened. However, he ensured that the ministry would open the office soon in Ramallah, Palestine.

A source from the ministry said that government must consider a number of things   before opening a representative office in Palestine. "We must prepare everything, includes the office, field condition, security and others," he said.
