Prambanan Temple hosts Grand Final of World Muslimah Award 2014

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Prambanan Temple will host Grand Final of World Muslimah Award 2014 tonight. About 25 finalists from around the world will compete in the event.

Founder and CEO of World Muslimah Foundation Eka Shanty said Prambanan Temple matched with the team 'Resetting the World in Harmony'. "Prambanan is a symbol of differences," Shanty said on Friday (21/11).

Prambanan is Hindu temple compound located in Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. It was built in the 10th century and become the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia.

Bringing the theme comes to life, the committee will build a stage inspired by Syuhada Mosque in Yogyakarta. "Seen from a far, the stage looks like it is living side by side with Prambanan," she said.
