REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAMUJU -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo along with his entourage arrived at Tampa Padang Airport here on Thursday morning (6/11).
The head of state and the first lady were greeted by West Sulawesi Governor Anwar Adnan Saleh as they descended from the presidential aircraft at the airport.
Jokowi was scheduled to visit the cacao plantations in Salletto village and the fishermen residing in the coastal Summare village, Simboro sub-district.
On Wednesday, the president and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, at 7:30 a.m. local time, on their working visit to the provinces of South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi.
After arriving in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Jokowi inspected a new irrigation project and met the local farmers.
Later, on Thursday, the head of state will fly from West Sulawesi to Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, to evaluate the irrigation project and maritime toll road plan as well as to attend the 12th national congress of the Family of Gadjah Mada University Alumni (Kagama).
The president is scheduled to return to Jakarta from Kendari on Thursday afternoon.
