REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro has said new ministries formed by President Joko Widodo will get operational budget to carry out their programs.
One of the ministries to benefit from operational budget allocation is the office of the coordinating minister for maritime affairs for which no budget allocation has been set aside in the Revised 2014 State Budget.
The effective working period of these ministries this year is only two months.
"I can guarantee that Pak (Mr) Indroyono Susilo (coordinating minister for maritime affairs) will work even if his office's operations are still provisional," Bambang stated on Tuesday.
He added that the new ministries could work using operational funds made available at the State Secretariat or the Budget Department for Other Purposes of the State General Treasury (BU 999.l08). This budget has been contained in the Revised 2014 State Budget.
