REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian National Police (Polri) have mapped the supporters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Indonesia. Indonesian Police Chief, Gen Sutarman said that the map was important because government had rejected ISIS ideology and activites in the country.

"We have mapped several parties involved in ISIS because of their ignorance," Sutarman said on Thursday.

According to Sutarman, all of them affiliated with militant groups in Indonesia and the Police already have the map. The movement have been monitored, including violent actions and terrorism since Bali bombing.

"We should thank to our 462 officers who had followed these movements since Bali bombing until today," Sutarman added.

National Police will conduct preventive measures to remind people not to join the group. He will firmly crack down on those who violate the law through terror and violence. Law enforcement is the last bastion in solving ISIS problem and security is main thing in maintaining the Homeland.
